Well, life has been the same for the most part since I last updated you all. There was, of course, Halloween and school continues on. I can hardly wait until December 2nd! Then I have a full month off! School hasn't been horrible, I'm just looking forward to finishing. We took the kids to Boo at the Zoo and to the Dunes! If it weren't for Joe's motivation I don't know if we'd make it to many places! We also took the kids to San Diego last weekend to use our season passes we've only used once! It was a whirlwind trip. We didn't plan the best because the U of U was playing San Diego State and the flights were a bit full, so we ended up flying into LAX and renting a car to drive 1 1/2 hours to SD! We took the kids straight to Sea World and I went back to the hotel to check in. Met them back at Sea World and had a pretty good time. Morgan, Hanna and I went on the Roller Coaster (forgot the name) so many times, we were soaked by the end. It was a perfect day to go. Absolutely no lines or congestion. We went back to the pool, where the kids had a ball. Got up the next morning, swam of course, took the car back to SD drop-off and flew home! Joe and I are still recovering! I'm too old for such turn arounds. Well, this week is T-giving and, yes, I've already trimmed the tree and decorated the house for Christmas. Morgan and Hanna brought up all the decorations last Sunday and Gma & Gpa were gracious enough to help decorate the tree (I'm pretty bad with that part). Joe has us cocooned with all the blinds shut. He hates when we do this, but I think deep down he really loves it. I do love the holiday season. We went to my parents last night for the "Big Game (U vs BYU)! One tip I suggest: Never put BYU die hard fans in a room with U fans! The tension is too much to bear and if you are not completely vested you are pulled in half! After the delightful/horrible game we drove past Pete/Cathy's house to view the Christmas light event! The music and lights certainly added to the festive season! I'm so glad they put the energy into making my kids Christmas memories so I don't have to . It's quite the show and if you have time you need to take your kids by and see it! We also gathered things together for the Sub for Santa we're doing this Christmas! I am so excited about this I can hardly sleep! We have been assigned a refugee family with 7 children from Africa! Both my family and Joe's family are involved. I didn't realize this could be so much fun! I think if I put as much time into school as I do with this I may find it fun as well? nah Well life is good and I am blessed with a wonderful supportive and healthy family. I must be going, but will hopefully update soon! Ciao

Well, It's once again time for my monthly blogging. This past month has been kinda crazy. We did do a couple of fun things this past month. We went to the state fair. The kids look forward to this every year, I wish I could say the same. I love the Davis County fair cuz it's small and quaint. The SL County fair is getting so big, but the fam loves it still the same. Morgan & Hanna took Gracie on the big giant slide for the first time this year. Gracie was so funny. Her expression clearly was fear, but she tried to be big for sissy and bro. She is such a hoot. We also went to the Corn Belly Maze at Thanksgiving point. It was a lot of fun. We went in the maze and had to finally take the "emergency exit". Joe and my natural ability to discern direction once again fell short. We were laughing so hard. The big hit there as well was all the slides. Gracie was in pig heaven!! My Dad just had his surgery this week as well. He finally had the gallbladder out and is doing very well. He's just happy to be home. Morgan is playing football once again. He's quite a good little player and is obsessed with it. He plays, watches it on TV, goes to all the local games and is an avid Cowboys fan. It is quite a consuming sport. 3x per week practices for 2 hours and every saturday 1hr practice before the game. I love to watch football as well. Hanna deciding to give dancing up this year for soccer. She is quite the athlete as well. Their team was undefeated and she made several goals, even one for the other team! ugh. She has decided to continue on in sports and maybe next year gymnastics. She's a great kid and I'm happy she's found her passion. Gracie is my little buddy. When my Dad had surgery she wanted to go on the train so she and I took Frontrunner and trax to IMC. She loved it. She made friends with everyone, even the conductor. She is in a playgroup with her little buddy Andrea. She loves being social and hanging out with Hanna and her friends. Her favorite though is to go shopping. She loves going to the orange store with Daddy or the little cart store with Mommy. Joe has had a rough fall compared to those in the past. He loves hunting and fishing and has had to sacrifice his trips for Grandpa's hospitalizations and my school. Hopefully next year he can resume the outdoor activities. We are going to the Sand Dunes today for our UEA getaway. We planned on going to San Diego, but all the flights were overbooked. Oh well. Morgan and Hanna have been wanting to go to the Dunes. Gracie however hates sand so we'll see how she does. Life is good and I am blessed. Until next month, ciao!

Life has been crazy these past few weeks. My Dad has been hospitalized for septic shock! He nearly died, but even the doctors said, "It just wasn't his time!" They said they'd never seen anyone so septic and survive. He is a miracle and we are so thankful he is still around.
Morgan, Hanna and I all started school this past Monday (Aug 25th). It just happened to be Gracie's birthday! We had a wonderfully fun Luau Party for her the friday before. We had a tiki pinata, tiki slush, Hawaiian Haystacks and beautifully decorated Hula Girl Cake (compliments of Cathy). The kids played the limbo, in the pools and water games. They all had a blast. It was great but I have been doing homework ever since! What was I thinking? I keep telling myself, only 2 more semesters! Morgan has Mrs. Martin for fourth grade this year. She is the sister of President Monson and an excellent teacher. Hanna has Mrs. Francom who adores her. I think it will be a good year. On the first day of school Gracie and I walked Morgan and Hanna to their classes. Hanna and Autumn had one desk between them and Gracie naturally tried to occupy it. When I tugged and finally released her grip from the desk, she was in tears! Sad thing is she won't be starting Kindergarten for 3 more years, ouch!
We took the kids to Kennecott Copper Mine (Joe's idea) for one last hurrah before school started. It was interesting, but not like Lagoon or The Alpine slide, sorry Joe. Well, it's definitley early and almost time for me to go into work. Life is on the up and we are all finally doing well. Until the next sleepless night, ciao!

Well, its been a while once again, but I'm at least making here on occasion! Well, summer has started and going crazy! Hanna had her final recital and Danced to Hannah Montana! She loved it, but her favorite part is getting flowers from her Daddy! We had a great 4th! The kids were in the kids parade. They decorated their bikes and wagons! Morgan feels he's getting a bit old, but Hanna and Gracie sure enjoyed it! Morgan was also in the Centerville parade in the Viking Football Float! He was a bit cocky and was thrilled to throw us all some candy! We went up to Penny's for a BBQ that night and did fireworks! Sorry Connie, no funner works! ha ha This last Wed we went hiking with Carri and Peter Ward up at Cabin! It was a great day. The kids loved hiking and Gracie did pretty good for the most part, but after we finished almost 3 miles she said, "my leg hurts Mommy, my two legs hurt!" She was such a trooper. She even wore big girl pants all day and no accidents! We've been busy going to the Rec center swimming, going to the cabin and boating, four wheeling and just about anything the kids can think up we've been trying! Last week Phil and Mer had the Olsen reunion at the cabin. I had to work, but Joe took the kids and went boating and golfing. Morgan found his second favorite sport, driving the golf cart! The summer's been rather hot, but we've left the hot tub at lukewarm and have been enjoying that as well. I'm not ready for school to start! Not just because I'm enjoying hanging with my kids, but it means I have to go back as well, ugh! I'm sure itwill be just fine, but I get so anxious thinking about it! My family is doing well. Carma is planning the kids Christmas Party in July again this next Sunday. The kids love it in July! Its kinda nice to spread it out a bit! Life is good and I am very blessed. I have great kids who are healthy and sweet and a great husband. It may be a bit boring, but I like it just that way!

Well, it's 1:30 in the morning and I can't sleep!! We just got home from San Diego last Saturday!! We went down with my entire family!! It was a blast. We went to Sea World for two days and to Coronado Beach. The rest of our stay was completely occupied at the Hotel Pool. Why is it that no matter where you go the kids want to be at the pool? Life is good. The kids are out of school for the summer. Morgan is taking a two week summer guitar class from Mr. Butler and JP Stewart!! He was excited, but has found the real guitar not as fun as guitar hero!! Hanna is still in Dance and has her recital in 1 1/2 weeks!! Gracie is my little shadow and buddy!! She loves to do whatever I'm doing or follow Hanna and her buddies around!! They are all playing with friends from dawn til dust!! It's getting quite exhausting!! I think we'll have to tame things down a bit as the summer progresses!! We don't have many more trips planned for the summer (other than Joe's usual to Alaska with the boys!!) Joe got the boat out of storage today and got her running good. Now the kids can't wait to go. Sounds great, but don't know if we can afford the gas!! yipes Neil (Joe's Dad) had a biopsy on Tuesday which we just found out today that it's not cancer!! yeah!! But on a sour note, my Mom's sister Norma just found out she has cancer and needs to start chemo and radiation!! What a bummer. Well, I'm now getting a bit tired!! It worked, so I'm off to bed!!
Good Night

Well, we just returned from Cancun, Mexico (Joe and I). It was a wonderful time. It was nice to go on a vacation that you didn't need a vacation when you returned home. We sat under the cabana's and slept and ate. My kind of vacation. We will definitely return!! My parents and Joe's parents were kind enough to watch the kids while we were gone. Oh thank heaven for parents. I finished up this quarter with patho at Weber State and recently got a letter of acceptance to the BSN program in the fall!! What am I doing? Full time student, Mom and RN!! If I'm not crazy now I will be!! Well today the kids had their field day and tomorrow the last day of school! I was somehow roped into being in charge of field day's food. Not just helping at the food tables (as I thought it was when I accepted the assignment), but actually getting the donations from the local businesses, picking them up, setting up and cleaning up, plus working the booth for both morning and afternoon sessions. A little more than I had expected, but Morgan and Hanna were thrilled so I guess it was all worth it. I was so exhausted, but my mind was still racing from the day. That is why I am blogging at 1:15 in the morning. My parents bought all us kids a hot tub just "cuz"! and Aaron (Penny's hubby) installed it about a week ago. The kids, Joe and I have enjoyed it. We are leaving next Wed for San Diego with my family and it's also Morgan's 10th bday while were gone. We will be at Sea World on his Bday and he feels like that will be a great celebration! Life is good. I hope to blog a little sooner than I have. So until then, adios!!

Easter and family fun

Well, It's been a while since I last "blogged" and been a bit crazy. I take one more exam tomorrow and a final next week and I'm done until next fall. My kids keep begging me to drop out of school, but I need to be an example (sometimes I wonder if they're right!!). Morgan just started Baseball and becoming a Phil Jr. He plays catcher on the A's and loves it. He's on a team with many of his friends (Mitch and Josh to name a couple). He has to go over to the ball park each night and scout the other teams so he knows "how to play them!!" Only 9 and already turning into his Grandpa Olsen. Hanna is miss socialite with friends everywhere. She is so funny. She is taking dance lessons at the REC center and doing remarkably well. She wants to play softball and soccer and take guitar lessons. She hasn't quite found her niche, but I don't doubt she'll do well at whatever. Gracie is an absolute hoot! She is talking all the time and picks up on much, almost too much. We were at Morgan's game and she wanted to play on the toy. I told her to watch the game. She said, "It's boring Mom". What 2 year old uses "boring". She also said the legos that wouldn't fit into her castle no matter how she tried were, "bugging me". She loves to say prayers or in her words, "Talk to Fader in Heaven". She thinks she's 8 like Hanna. Sometimes I even think she's 8. She follow Hanna around like a puppy. Lindsey, my niece, has been staying with us while Joe's parents are away on a cruise. She has been doing great other than she records her teen shows and erases my reality TV!! Joe started Lawns this week, what a week of business. He's doing well and loving his shop. I keep teasing him that if we put a bed and toilet in their we'd never see him. We are leaving, Just Joe and I, to Cancun in a couple of weeks. It will be a nice relaxation. Until Cancun, Adios Amigos!!

The Beginning of Fabrizio Follies

Well today is the beginning of a new day. Paige Fabrizio has become a blogger. Wow!! Didn't think I was capable of this much technology, but with the help from my personal tech support (Cathy) I have begun!! I'm not much of a scrapbooker, so this will do fine!! Today is the day after Easter 2008. I need to back track a little. In Jan. 2008 we took the kids to Hawaii (present from Santa). We stopped in LA on our way and Connie took us to lunch at this fun restaurant with a vintage airplane museum. The kids loved it! Hawaii was a riot and once again Gracie feared the sand!! Not a gutty kid!! We stayed on Waikiki, went to a Luau where Gracie was the only one to get on stage and boogie a little hula!! It was hysterical. Morgan and Hanna loved the pool and the beach!! Great family vacation.
I am currently in school at Weber State University hoping to finally obtain my Bachelors Degree (I guess three associate degrees still doesn't add up to Bachelors'). My father in Law, Neil, just got out of surgery 30 minutes ago. They repaired an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. Funny thing, it was Cathy's brother who did the surgery. All went well. Morgan, Hanna and Grace had a whole four days off for Easter. We went swimming, played with Phillip's chicks & Morgan went Snowboarding for the first time with his friend Mitchell. Hanna gave a talk on her Baptism on Easter Sunday. They are all growing up so fast. We spent Easter day with both Neil, Carma & Family and also Phil, Mer & family . We live close enough to both sets of parents we are able to do both families on Holidays!! Joe is still at Delta and for all you who are worried, he shouldn't be affected too much by the early retirement. Life is good and my family is well.
